Chris Sheppard MRICS IRRV (Partner)

Chris joined the firm in 1978 and subsequently qualified as a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Rating and Valuation Association and a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents. Chris founded the Llanidloes Office and opened the branch in 1988 undertaking all manner of works relating to the agricultural, residential and commercial sectors. In particular he specialises on Valuation for Taxation, Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax and Probate. Building on the success of the Llanidloes Office, Chris joined the partnership in 1995 and is now Senior Partner at the firm.

Jonathan O Evans BSc MRICS (Partner)

Jonathan joined Norman Lloyd & Co in 1999 as a qualified member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors with a vast agricultural knowledge Jonathan has experience and expertise to undertake a range of matters in assisting new and retained clients. Jonathan became a partner at the firm in 2005 and is a noted livestock Auctioneer in the area.

J Glandon Lewis MRICS (Partner)

Glandon joined Norman Lloyd in 1983 on completion of A levels and after work experience attended the Royal Agricultural College gaining a diploma in Rural Estate Management. He then joined the firm full time in 1987 and became a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1989.

Glandon has been working in rural practice since this point and is an iconic auctioneer in Welshpool and Oswestry Livestock markets and is also an official auctioneer in the British Charolais Cattle Society, The Welsh Mule Sheep Association and Welsh Premier Texel Sale. He became a partner in the firm in 2011.

David T L Jones BSc (Hons) MRICS FNAEA (Partner)

David joined Norman Lloyd in 2000 to undertake a degree in Real Estate with the University of Central England. During this time he became a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents and a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

David manages the Welshpool and Bishops Castle offices and undertakes property and land agency along with all aspects of property management and assisting clients in the running of county estates.

David also carries out a variety of professional work from building surveys to valuations for secured lending along with adjusting checks on probate and tax planning.

David became a partner in the firm in 2016.

Rachel J. M. Mountford BSc (Hons) MARLA

Rachel began her career with the firm after completing a BSc (Hons) degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management at Harper Adams.

After some time working with a Housing Assocation Rachel returned to Norman Lloyd in January 2016 as the firm’s rental manager. Rachel deals with all aspect of residential lettings and estate agency and will be undertaking the necessary training for compliance with the Rent Smart Wales legislation.
